Today we will be looking at various creation myths from around the world.

The Big Myths

Lesson / HW Task:

·         Make up your own creation myth to explain how the world came to be and how we came in to existence. The template on your learning record could be used to help you plan your myth if you like.

·         Post a summary of your myth on the Class’s BLOG page

You might like to send your Creation Myth to the webmaster here for inclusion on The Big Myth website.

This should be completed before our next lesson in January.

HW Options:

Write an imaginary letter from heaven telling someone what life is like there. Use this to express your own beliefs or hopes.

Write a poem about what heaven or hell may be like

Draw, paint or make a collage to show contrasting pictures of

heaven and hell. Post a comment below to explain what you think about what happens after death.

Which ever task you choose, bring your work to our next lesson in 2012 - have a good break!

7.4 RS Homework

HW: Choose a Gospel Story and tell it in 6 simple snapshots. You must say which Gospel it is from and the Chapters and Verses in which it can be found.

The snapshots can include and media you like (photos, animations, sketches, paintings, lego men, you dressed up, or if you are really lazy some clip art!)

You might like to visit the Lego Bible for some ideas, strictly no copying, I know it like the back of my hand, if you want to use Lego, you have to use your own!

Each text box must then contain a quote from the bible

The best will be posted on the BLOG.

BCC Jazz Band on Sheep Street : Bicester Christmas Lights

Well done to all members of the BCC Jazz Band who performed at the switching on of the Bicester Christmas Lights on Thursday.
