8.4 RS : Rites of Passage - Monday 9th January

Heaven & Hell

If you have not yet submitted your Home work from last lesson - complete it now and post it on the blog page here.

In todays lesson you will need to continue exploring the theme of What happens when we die.

Prepare a presentation of 'Heaven and Hell' it should consist of 2 slides in powerpoint and a script that you will present to the group in our next lesson.

Make sure you follow these instructions:
  •  Prepare 1 slide showing Heaven (this can use images or words or sound, whatever you think)
  •  Prepare 1 slide showing Hell (this can use images or words or sound, whatever you think)
  • Prepare a 1 minute verbal presentation (type a script)  that explains why your Heaven and Hell are as you have shown them and how and who decides which one you go to when you die.
  • Read you script out aloud to a friend and time it, 1 minute may not seem like a long time but you must make sense and get your views across effectively.
  • You must bring your script to the next lesson, you must also post it on the BLOG below, it will then be published when we have the lesson.

    I believe that heaven is bright and colourful, there are no bad people. There is nothing there to make you miserable and you can live in peace. I like to hope there is a place to go after you die. I think that when you pass away, a bright white light appears and you are lifted up to heaven.

    I dont belive in heaven or hell.

    Heaven and hell can’t survive without each other; if there was no heaven then there would be no need for hell, vice versa. But if I had to guess from my point of view, I’d say some kind of ticket warden decides where you go. From a Christian point of view, God would decide most likely.

    Heaven is great for some people
    but hell is a scrap
    everyone would like to go to heaven
    but anyone that goes to hell just die.

    Heaven is a nice place to be and is only for nice people. People imagine it to be a light and colourful place high up in the clouds where you enjoy yourself hell is the complete opposite you get treated horribly and you get everything bad happen to you. You get sent here if you do bad things through-out your life.tillie a
